Frisco is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Frisco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This repair service mobile unit comes out of Dallas and they want to charge you extra callout fee to come to the Collin County Frisco McKinney area. Clearly theyβre trying to pull a misconception.

I strongly advise potential customers to exercise extreme caution with this repair shop. My experience: 1. Called their Frisco location about ONE specific part inspection. Instead of helping us there, they redirected us to a different location an hour away. 2. Pre-service communication was concerning - staff didnβt provide consultation costs or clear directions upfront. 3. After driving an hour to their remote location (instead of their advertised Frisco shop), the mechanic spent only 5 minutes looking at my truck. Without performing any detailed diagnostics, he quickly dismissed my specific concern and claimed this part needed replacement and he canβt replace it. 4. They charged us an exorbitant $450 for this 5-minute "diagnostic" where the mechanic declared that everything was broken. 5. The entire interaction felt like a bait-and-switch: lure customers to a remote location, provide minimal service, charge excessive fees and pushing for additional services! For potential customers: I strongly recommend: - Get diagnostic fees in writing before visiting - Be wary if they redirect you from their advertised location - Insist on detailed explanations and itemized costs - Get a s

Scam! They ask you to cross the city to meet a guy from different company who will tell you that part is broken for $450

My truck's computer diagnostics showed a serious issue while on the road. The mechanic who came out was knowledgeable and solved the problem on the spot.
